Skyrim SE: Jebidiah Infernalsaw Foresworn Conspiracy

via IFTTT Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at https://ift.tt/EGuhd5n The bustling marketplace was alive with the sound of clinking coins and murmured conversations—just another day in Markarth. I'm new to this city yet been in long enough to know that peace was a fragile illusion, especially when the Forsworn were concerned. But even I wasn’t expecting the hit to go down right in front of me. It happened quick. One second, a woman was haggling over trinkets, and the next, a steel blade was in her gut. The assassin—a Forsworn agent by the looks of him—made his move like a shadow. But shadows don't stay hidden long in my line of work. With a flash of steel, it was over, the killer dead at my feet. I’d seen it before. Kill or be killed. Markarth had no room for innocence. As the crowd buzzed around the body, I felt something slip into my hand. A crumpled note. The ink bled, but the message was clear: “Meet me at the Shrine of Talos.” A shiver ran down my spine. Something about this stank worse than a skeever's den, and I wasn’t just talking about the body count. Whoever sent this note knew more than they were letting on—and in Markarth, secrets were more valuable than gold. I tucked the note into my coat, scanned the marketplace one last time, and made my way to the shrine. The streets were quieter now, the weight of what I’d just witnessed hanging in the air like a storm cloud. This wasn’t just about one murder; this was something bigger, something buried deep in the stone of this cursed city. The Shrine of Talos stood silent, an empty monument to a god long outlawed. Because in Markarth, no one stays clean for long. Not even me.
